Verizon Hits A New Low in Quarterly Net Additions for Broadband
Verizon announced its quarterly earnings today, including its subscriber adds for FiOS, DSL and FiOS TV. Verizon ended the 4Q09 with 9.22 million broadband subscribers, which include 3.433 million FiOS and 5.787 million DSL subscribers. FiOS TV subscribers grew to 2.861 million, representing 83 percent of FiOS subscribers. At the end of 4Q09, FiOS subscribers accounted for 37 percent of total broadband subscribers.
